Trabzon Hagia Sophia 
Meaning “holy wisdom”, Hagia Sophia was a Greek Orthodox church in Trabzon which was later converted into a mosque in 1584. It got turned into a museum in 1964, and back into a mosque in 2013. The history of the Hagia Sophia dates back to the 13th century when Trabzon used to be the capital of the Empire of Trebizond. 

Ataturk Kosku
Ataturk Kosku is a villa that was built in the year 1890 by a Greek merchant and in 1924 the founder and the first president of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk stayed here, which is how the villa got its name. Ataturk stayed here again in 1937, just one year before his death. Ataturk Kosku serves as a monument to Ataturk today.

Sera Lake
Located in the Akcaabat district of Trabzon, Sera Lake is an amazing sight in Trabzon that is a tourist attraction! The lake was formed after heavy rainfall in 1950. The lake is suitable for fishing and sightseeing. With green all around, this lake is wonderful to explore!

Boztepe 
Located in the Ortahisar district of Tranzon, observing the sunset and sunrise on Boztepe hil is unlike any other! Able to attract tourists with its many cafes, you can also see a large Ataturk statue here. This green hill serves as a wonderful area to relax and take a refreshing breath in. Calm down in this spot while enjoying Turkish black tea and enjoying the beautiful view from above.
